Privacy Policy

Last updated · MMXXVI

This Privacy Policy explains how the production of the short film We Leak Inside — Everyone is fine ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and safeguards personal information when you visit everyoneisfine.life (the "Site"). We act as the data controller for the limited processing described below. By using the Site you acknowledge the practices set out in this Policy.

1. Information we collect

We do not operate user accounts and do not ask you to submit personal information through this Site. Our hosting provider automatically processes standard server log data on our behalf, including your IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, requested pages and timestamps. This data is processed under our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a secure, functioning website and detecting abuse.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies required to deliver the pages you request. We do not deploy advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or profiling technologies. If we introduce privacy-respecting audience measurement in the future, this Policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested before any non-essential cookie is set.

3. Third-party services

Certain elements of the Site are provided by third parties — including video hosting (for the trailer), our crowdfunding partner (Crowdfunder) and social platforms (Instagram, TikTok). When you interact with these services or follow outbound links, those providers process your data under their own privacy policies. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, their processing activities.

4. Retention

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short rolling period (typically no longer than 30 days) and then automatically deleted, except where a longer period is required to investigate a security incident or to comply with a legal obligation.

5. International transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions that do not provide an equivalent level of data protection. Where such transfers occur, they are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

9. Contact

For any question relating to this Policy or your personal data, please write to contact@everyoneisfine.life.
